Summer Chic Inspiration Board

I've been imagining this wedding in my head for some time now. I was inspired by my kitchen wall. I painted it my favorite color; DEEP TURQUOISE and i love love love it.

Colors: Shades of Teal Turquoise and light blue, Banana Yellow, and blush pink.

I love mismatching. There are many ways to missmatch you bridesmaids; you can have them wear all the same color but different styles of dresses, you could have the wear the same style dress just different colors, or I have chosen to pick different colors and different dresses to make them each feel unique.(Dresses from Dillards & Anthropology)
This yellow truck and yellow button mums add just the right amount of YELLOW. Who wouldnt want to drive away from their wedding in an old car with tin cans draggin behind?!

I have a wall hanging that says, "She with the most shoes wins" or better yet She with the best shoes wins. Even since the story of the princess bride, Cinderella who wore glass slippers, shoes seem to be a girl's best friend. What we see as "traditional" is the white gowns and white shoes which actually started in the 1840's because Queen Elizabeth wore all white. Before that, the tradition was blue gowns. Now a days wedding shoes make a real statement. Every Bride wants to stand out and her gown and accessories should reflect her personal style. Here are some shoes brides have worn to be themselves and break the "tradition".

You could serve chicken with a yummy strawberry glaze or pork with a cherry glaze. & the drink of the night should be apple martinis with a strawberry slice on the rim.

Of course you would have a strawberry cake. Maybe make it angel food with a whipped icing and have strawberry sauce drizzled on every slice given to your guests.
